The Last Two Weeks In 5

Here’s to trying to make up for lost time. We’ve been so crazy busy over the last two weeks, I hardly had the time to wash my hair (don’t laugh, I literally forgot to do it 3 days in a row after taking a shower) and we’ve been adapting Lara to her temporary kindergarten here in Slovenia so there really weren’t enough hours in the day to keep up with everything. When kids are two years old there is no time for anything else, aside from doing stuff that kids who are two want to do. Basically, meaning that when mommy says it’s work time, Lara understands this as play some more time.

So, what have we been doing? Well, (not washing our hair apparently) we’ve been taking tons of walks getting reacquainted with Ljubljana. I feel like it’s been so long since we had a little longer than two days to enjoy it. So we’ve been doing that and we’ve been reading a lot as well. Lots of bookstores have kiddy corners here so we’ve been taking full advantage of that. We also went to see our first cartoon at the movies together, Dr. Seuss’ Lorax and we loved it! And I got a little older this past Sunday too (and I’m hoping wiser too!).
