And we’re finally back in France! After a month away it’s always nice to come home to a place that feels familiar and ours. There really is no place like home and even though our house still looks a little bit like a bomb made of clothes and toys exploded in it, I’m relishing in the fact that I have a few days to get it all together and settle us back in. Plus there’s sunshine here. SUNSHINE people!
Lara started school again yesterday and to be perfectly honest after spending 100% of our time together over the past month, it was more than a little weird to drop her off yesterday morning and have her resume her big-girl-I’m-in-school status.
I’ve been dealing with some “fun” paperwork over the past couple of days and I have my first doctor’s appointment in a month and a half today so I’m trying to get all these things out of the way before I officially end this winter blogging break. As I mentioned here, I’m so, so looking forward to having more time to dedicate to this online home of mine and I reaaaally hope you’ll like the changes I’m planning to roll out over the next couple of months. It’s going to be a fun ride and I couldn’t be more excited to be on it. Hope you’re on board too!
I’ve got my first London post planned for tomorrow, we obviously took a ton of pictures (once we managed to get our hands on a memory card) so I’m going to stretch out the photos in a couple of posts in order to avoid a major photo dump all at once. We had an amazing time and managed to see quite a bit of this wonderful city, which made me so happy. I had big plans but I was worried a bit about the weather etc. Well, it turned out great, we had two full sunny days and there was some major sightseeing and walks down history lane. Real stuff for the soul. My soul that is.
