Just Another Manic Monday

Yesterday was one of those Mondays when you’re not totally over the weekend yet and you don’t feel rested at all. Partially because the youngest member of the family decided that nights weren’t for sleeping but tickling parents. It was also one of those Mondays when you’re already running late and you find out your street has been blocked off due to construction and you’re forced to take a longer (and only) route to daycare and work, resulting in you being 10 minutes late, without makeup or washed hair and basically wearing your lack of sleep right there on your face. Sexy, I tell you.

But it’s Monday nonetheless and the show must go on. For me it went on in a white button down, a pair of leggings and just because I couldn’t really bother with anything else, a splash of neon, just to try and brighten things (the Monday blues) up.

P.S Today isn’t much better since we’re still not sleeping and I’m wearing pants, you could say closely resemble sweats.

P.S.2 I’m also aware that leggings have a bit of a bad rep but I love them and refuse to give them up as everyday basics. Hence why I’ve been wearing them in two out of the last three posts. Too bad.
