Music Friday Vol. 3

I’ve been slacking on Music Fridays for the past two weeks so it was high time I put together another playlist. I’m not saying these songs go together in any particular way but it was a very looooong week and I’m just glad it’s the weekend so I think they sort of express that particular mood.

I know you’ve probably heard about this stunning portrait photography project already but I wanted to share it anyway just because I find it so inspirational. And on days like this rainy one over here we (me) could certainly use some. You Are My Wild brings together 14 photographers and each week they document how they see their children. A Kilo Of Sweaters Please

If vintage clothing, thrift shopping and getting giddy over unique sartorial finds is your thing than this incredibly cool concept superstore located in one of the fashion capitals of the world will make you one very happy vintage shopper. Kiloshop is a unique vintage store spread over a 220 square meter loft right on Boulevard St. Germain in Paris. But it’s not just your usual vintage store, at Kiloshop you purchase clothes by weight.

So instead of ordering apples and zucchinis at your local farmer’s market on the weekend you can get a kilo of jeans for 20€ (Levis are actually at 14€ for 700 grams). And even if sorting through what seems like endless piles of vintage clothing isn’t your idea of  fun shopping time, the place is definitely worth a visit for touristic purposes if nothing else. And who knows you might just find something amazing!

Friday’s Carnival

This might not be a big deal at all but this morning my heart almost burst from love into a million little pieces. Lara’s daycare is having a carnival day and so she and all the other little kiddies in her class get to dress up and increase their usual adorableness by like a 1000%. So, when she got dressed up in her little Rapunzel outfit this morning, let me play with her hair AND posed for pictures my heart just couldn’t take it anymore. Music Friday Vol. 2

It’s music Friday again! But mostly I’m just happy it’s Friday at last. After a tough week I’m more than happy to take it easy this weekend and just spend time with the bf and the little one. It’s gotten super chilly again here and while I really love the sun and am grateful for it, I can’t help but crave warm weather.
